Hello! This is my story.

I’m retired, so attending First Church gives me a welcome chance to socialize, at coffee hour every week and at dinner church or Gather Round the Table. I like getting to know people and feeling part of a community. When my twin brother was dangerously ill, people would ask how he was doing. It made me feel less anxious to be able to talk about it.

I also like being involved in church activities like ushering and doing hospitality, as well as supporting the church in its outreach efforts by making donations or working in the soup kitchen. First Church does a lot of good things for the larger community and I’m proud to be a part of it.
